An Institute Management Committee (IMC) in an ITI college is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mechanism designed to improve vocational training by involving industry experts. Led by a private industry chairman, the IMC gets significant autonomy to manage the ITI, including upgrading equipment, upgrading skills, and improving placements.
