Government Industrial Training Institute Mahuadabra (Jaspur)

Govt. Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Jaspur, established in 2015, is a government-recognized technical institute located in Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. The institute is committed to delivering quality vocational and technical education, with the aim of preparing students for employment in diverse industrial sectors. It currently offers training in key trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Welder, and Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), where students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on experience aligned with industry requirements. With a strong focus on skill development, discipline, and professional growth, the institute helps students build a solid foundation for successful careers.

In its continuous effort to expand and modernize its training facilities, the institute plans to introduce and upgrade several trades, including Fitter, Electrician, Welder, COPA, and Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant). Additionally, under its Institutional Development Plan (IDP), new trades such as Draughtsman Civil, Computer Hardware and Network Maintenance Technician, Welder, Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant), and Consumer Electronics are proposed. These initiatives reflect the institute’s dedication to meeting evolving industry demands and enhancing students’ employability in the technical and industrial sectors.

The institute offers the Fitter trade under NCVT, with a training duration of two years. Eligibility for admission is based on the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination (10th standard with PCM). The trade is being conducted with two units, each having a seating capacity of 20 trainees, making the total seating capacity 40 trainees.
